Zendaya and Zac Efron star alongside each other in the upcoming Hugh Jackman film called the Greatest Showman which I cannot wait to see. I’ve already been listening to the soundtrack. In the film, Zendaya plays a trapeze artist and before production began, the director called and told her that she should start working out to bild upper body strength because he wanted to use stunt doubles as less as possible. So like the true professional she is, she started training and felt pretty darn confident by the time rehearsals started, but the trapeze she was presented with at rehearsal wasn’t exactly what she was expecting.
I mean when Wolverine tells you that, you best believe it. Zendaya and Zac play love interests in the movie and they have a duet where they sing to each other while flying on a trapeze and it’s visually stunning. But thanks to an iphone video Jimmy uncovered, we know that it took a lot of takes before they got it right.
But wait till you see the final take.
I mean you might as well give me the Kleenex now because I’m about to be a wreck watching this movie. Zac and Zendaya’s characters play forbidden lovers because the movie takes place in the 1800s when interracial relationships were not allowed which leads me to the explanation as to why Zac said his kiss with Zendaya was his favorite. Zendaya explained what he meant on Kelly and Ryan.
And because hello who wouldn’t want to kiss Zendaya? You can catch all of the magical action when The Greatest Showman hits theaters December 20th.
