An appropriate decision…

As we reported, YouTube star Logan Paul faced intense backlash after he posted (and then deleted) a video of him apparently finding a dead body while traveling through Aokigahara, also known as the Japanese Suicide Forest.

On Wednesday, the social media personality announced on Twitter he won’t be releasing a new video (at least for that day) as he is “taking time to reflect.”

The 22-year-old wrote:

Paul first apologized on Monday claiming he didn’t film the controversial clip for views, but “to raise awareness for suicide and suicide prevention.”

On Tuesday, he posted a video where he apologizes once again, saying:

“I’ve made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgment, and I don’t expect to be forgiven. I’m simply here to apologize… What we came across that day in the woods was obviously unplanned, and the reactions you saw on tape were raw. They were unfiltered. None of us knew how to react or how to feel. I should have never posted the video. I should have put the cameras down… I want to apologize to the victim and his family. For my fans who are defending my actions, please don’t. They do not deserve to be defended.”

We just hope Logan learns from his mistakes!
